Coming soon - qd31 Polypores - I Wish There Was a Place Like That

Writer: quiet detailsquiet details

Hi friends - hope all good :)

Excellent news today for fans of deep psychedelia and highly creative synth jams, coming next with a stunning interpretation of quiet details is the UK-based modular hero, Stephen James Buckley, here as Polypores.

Out next Wednesday 12th March, digital and CD editions. As always the physical edition comes with the unique long-form version of the album and bespoke six panel digi-pack, with separate artwork and glass-mastered CD. Listening party Thursday 13th March at 19:00 UK time.

An integral part of the British electronic scene, with widely-acclaimed albums on wonderful labels such as Castles in Space, DIN, Frequency Domain, Woodford Halse, Miracle Pond, Waxing Crescent and more, plus loads of self-releases.

Coupled with live performances that range from full-on incendiary to wide-eyed hypnosis, and him being an all-round fantastic human, Stephen is much loved and admired - so it’s an honour to share this new album with you!

Taking the quiet details idea and making it truly his own, gorgeous electronic abstractions, full of melody and constant left-turns - this is a wonderful album anyone with an even passing interest in the edges of this music will surely love.

For now, check out some of his previous stuff here, then go digging as all so good x
