Excellent news today - coming next week with a beautiful and profoundly absorbing quiet details interpretation, is UK electronic music stalwart, Martin Jenkins - here as Pye Corner Audio with Lake Deep Memory
Out next Wednesday 14th May, digital and CD editions. As always the physical edition comes with the unique long-form version of the album and bespoke six panel digi-pack, with separate artwork and glass-mastered CD. Listening party Thursday 15th May at 19:00 UK time.
Known for his mastery of otherworldly and highly textured sonics, Pye Corner Audio has been responsible for a long string of releases - from slow-mo drum tracks and other dancefloor workouts, to deepest ambience and cosmic excursions.
All grounded by his expert and nuanced synth programming and melodic sensibilities, it’s no wonder he’s become one of the most loved and admired artists making music today.
Lake Deep Memories, inspired by a visit to the mystical Lake Atitlan in Guatemala, shows Pye Corner Audio at his most beguiling and mesmeric.
Soaring synths meet submerged electronica, field recordings taken at the lake blend seamlessly with hazy atmospherics - a stunning journey of emotional peaks and valleys, hallucinatory and utterly majestic.
