Hi friends - hope all good :)
Very exciting news today - coming next week with a deeply psychedelic and dub-drenched quiet details interpretation, inspired by rural Japan - is the electronic music legend, Scott Monteith, here as Deadbeat.
Out next Wednesday 4th February, digital and CD editions. As always the physical edition comes with the unique long-form version of the album and bespoke six panel digi-pack, with separate artwork and glass-mastered CD.
Listening party Thursday 5th February at 19:00 UK time.

Scott’s been around for a long time now - mostly known for his key role in the evolution of all things dub in the world of techno and house, but also experimenting and collaborating widely, covering a huge amount of musical ground.
Kansai Botanicals is a pastoral trip through his deepest imagination. After a packed tour in Japan, he took some time off to explore and soak up the inspiration of the Kansai region around Kyoto. The experiences and field recordings he gathered there form the essence of this album, brought back to his Berlin studio and moulded into a piece of high art.
Vast subs and glimmering highs, richly detailed environmental memories and synthetic textures meet with mesmerising effect.
Deadbeat’s known for incredible sound-design next to refined sensitive musicality - Kansai Botanicals is all this and more - a new chapter for this wonderful artist.

For now check out some of his previous music, I’ve had Lichen Diary releases on repeat here recently, highly recommended! It’s all great so dig deep x
Also coming is the second run of the amazing qd39 Raica - The Absence of Being
Chloe Harris in stunning form with her trademark synth explorations - don’t sleep on these.
Now loads of shout-outs! Support these kind people.
