Hey friends - hope all good :)

Big thanks again for the support for Deadbeat’s incredible Kansai Botanicals

As well as topping the Bandcamp ambient charts and climbing high in their all genre chart, the album also reached number 28 in the Official Album Charts - amazing stuff and all down to Scott’s genius and your support :)

Last day of half-price digital today and CD stocks starting to run low - message me for the long-form download if you bought the physical (same goes for all quiet details releases - the CD is always a unique continuous mix to truly honour the album format and the work that goes into making an album singular piece of work).

Thanks too for the kind words about the artwork - I make every one myself, always based on an image the artist sends me that’s connected to the music. I then rephotograph it using analogue photography, and process with various by-hand techniques to get the final album art.

In this case, I chose from a series of gorgeous pictures Scott sent over from his trip to Japan. I’ve been there many times myself and miss it dearly, a wonderful place and so it was lovely to see these pictures, and know their deep meaning to Scott.

So now time Scott's Q&A - he’s a true craftsman, so great to get an insight into his process. Enjoy!

Huge thanks too for the support for this week’s release of my latest fields we found piece - landscape 03

Making and listening to these has been a massive help for me recently - deeply meditative and something that’s very introspective, in the most positive way.

The series will always be free or pay what you want - feels they’re meant to be shared so hope they connect with you in some way.

Of course they’re included the subscription - extremely grateful to everyone that supports my music in that way x

Shout-outs now! Thanks to all these lovely people :)
