Hi friends - hope all good :)
Thanks for making the last qd Bandcamp Listening Party of 2025 last night one to remember - great session and very happy to see all the love for Shawn’s album!
Really pleased to see a few comments about it being a bit different for a qd album, being more rhythmic and percussive than we usually hear. While we certainly veer towards the horizontal (as overall, does yesterday sky), the premise of the label is artists I love and their unique interpretation of the phrase ‘quiet details’ - Shawn delivered with flying colours.
It’s amazing to look back at the range of creativity in the series so far - the artists involved have done wonderful things and I feel like there’s endless scope for exploration - huge thanks to Shawn and all the other musicians!
The last Bandcamp Friday of the year too - big thanks as always to them for everything they do. All their fees waived today to put more in the artists’ pockets - so a great day to pick up anything you’re interested in, from us or anyone else.
