Delighted to say that next in the quiet details series is one of the most loved artists in modern ambient music, Dennis Huddleston, here as 36.

36 (pronounced three-six) has been releasing music for over fifteen years on leading labels such as A Strangely Isolated Place and Past Inside the Present, and also on his own 3six Recordings. He’s grown a huge fanbase and is responsible for some of the most essential albums of recent times.

A master of wide-eyed cinematic soundscapes; beautifully crafted worlds that are as harmonically rich as they are polychromatically abstract.

A Warm Static Sphere is 36 in ultra-deep mode - vast and immersive synths mesh with opaque noise, creating waves ofemotion that are all-encompassing. These give way to more delicate moments and open up to reveal fragments and minutiae buried in the depths.

Truly horizontal music, deeply affecting and abstract, with the potential to shift your consciousness in the best possible way.

As Dennis says:

A Warm Static Sphere is about finding peace through isolation.

It's a record doused in gentle hum/static which, when played quietly through headphones, acts like a warm enveloping sphere around the head.

It's like this private isolation zone between the listener and the outside world, which feels warm and safe inside.

The music opens up slowly, revealing its quiet details purposefully, often hidden deep within the loops.

A masterpiece from a singular artist, and wonderful interpretation of quiet details.

Huge thanks to 36 for being part of the series.

The artwork was made as always influenced by the music and idea behind the album - originating from a photo from Dennis which was then captured with analogue photography and processed here at quiet details studios.

As usual, the album is presented on the physical edition, a custom six-panel digipack with a separate fine art print too.
The CD also has a special long-form continuous mix of the album, created by the artist and representing the music in its purest form.
